We are an IT Support and Systems Solutions to clients across SE QLD and Victoria with an office located in Salisbury, 10 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Engineer who is willing to get things done, with a can do attitude and creative problem solving skills. On top of this your customer service and time management needs to be pretty special.


The Level 3 Engineer will be responsible for providing assistance to Simplified Systems and our Customers.

Customer Support requires the provision of day-to-day remote and telephone technical support of customer’s servers, workstations, laptops and associated network infrastructure, including some tasks like:

Primary Duties

  • Provide timely and accurate support to all customers, stakeholders and users in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Actively develop effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to facilitate the realisation and maintenance of business benefits.
  • Professional in appearance and presentation.
  • Provide all forms of IT Support including answering of helpdesk phone calls, emails, customer requests and any tasks as directed by Management
  • Service coordination, maintenance and warranty repairs of computers & peripheral equipment
  • Problem solve autonomously and efficiently
  • Problem solve comprehensively and effectively
  • Provide onsite, remote and telephone support to clients
  • Service tickets to be completed in a timely and accurate manner according to their priority, appropriate feedback and follow up where required
  • Conduct new and upgrade infrastructure rollouts
  • Conduct regular maintenance services for customers via our managed maintenance platform
  • Install and support client software applications and operating systems
  • Create & maintain customer’s system build documentation with as required
  • Vendor liaison
  • Other duties as directed by your Senior staff as required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2011 SBS Server, Microsoft Windows Domains, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows 7, 8 and 10.
  • Firewall deployment and management experience using Cyberoam, Checkpoint and Sonicwall.
  • Remote access technologies, DNS/DHCP/WINS.
  • Detailed knowledge of workstation and server hardware, Device drivers and peripheral support.
  • Advanced DNS and Networking protocols knowledge and understanding.
  • Sound knowledge of Configuration and Management of MS Office 365, Azure Services, StorageCraft Software and Cloud Services and Veam.
  • Background supporting Medical Centres is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of Autotask, N-Central, Webroot, Teamviewer is a benefit.
